Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Nichiren Buddhist Kannon Temple of Nevada Website.

We are Mahayana Buddhists of the Nichiren Shu (order).

We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our temple on this site, or come in for a visit.

Dress Code

It is important to show respect when entering the temple by dressing appropriately. To do this, visitors should avoid clothing that is too revealing or suggestive. Shorts, tank tops, and other skimpy clothing should be avoided. Modest clothing that covers the shoulders and knees is suggested. Be comfortable, but mindful of those around you and to the Buddha, deities, and Nichiren Shonin.
